Sevva night

I read somewhere in Sydney Morning Herald that this is a must go place whilst you visit in Hong Kong. The place is called SEVVA located in Central. We made a booking for 8:30pm. Kinda late for dinner, but we had no option as this is the only time slot they can fit us.

Finally reached the location after getting lost for about 10 minutes, it is on level 25 of a building in CBD area. Sevva has everything under one roof, from bakery, bar, lounge, dining area, and terrace to enjoy view of Hong Kong. I don't think Sydney has anything this sexy.

I was expecting a place full of youngsters. Nahhhhhhhh not really true, it's really weird that you get a good mixture ranging from family dinner (with their teenage children), birthday celebration gang, dating couple, uni students gang, expats.

One of the manager took our order for the night with Montblanc pen. Jaw dropped.

I took some photos, but they are not that great, either too dark/ too bright, anyway here's our sins of the night . . .

Entree - Lobster pancake
Entree - Foie grass

Entree - Crab meat in crab shell

Main - Sea bass w king scallops on asparagus cream

Main - Steak with baby vegies

Dessert - I think we ordered pear tart in filo pastry

View 3 - if you look down

All of the food right from the start till the end are all good, well presented, really fresh and of course taste good. Service is good, they are attentive and fast.

My friend ordered peppermint tea and OMG, this is the best peppermint tea ever I have ever tried. Very fragrant, strong, and after 3x water refill, was still strong. You can buy this peppermint tea from their bakery, I wanted to buy a box to bring back, at HKD 320 ... errr I think I need to downgrade my tastebud for peppermint tea. Twinings/ Taylors of Harrogate will do for now.
